holy shit none of us have heard of SDH, thanks for enlightening us, we're just niave pinkbike users trying to work out the best way to live our lives - what do we owe you? Luckly the people at pinkbike can appreciate the interest which can be found in a simple shot such as this one, and the site isnt run by trick ferrets like yourself who would turn it into a trite, monotonous flip/spin/t-whip fest. As a visual effect on my screen or on paper or what the pic is transfered to, it's grain (or a better term which I dont know). The pic is a representation of rain - rain which fell on that day and all the particular raindrops which were caught by the exposure, but what I'm looking at is not rain, merely a texture, a pattern which the camera produced under the given conditions - believe me, my computer screen is dry! (that was only half serious)

exactly dubproof - I also agree with the others that a lot of the negative comments on this site are often uncalled for, but do we want it to be a big mutual masturbation session? Pinkbike, and this fact is becoming more and more obscured with all the bullshit ads and needless crap which has appeared over the past year or so, is (or at least still partly is) a photography site. Photography is meant to be open to critisim to a degree. It's not just *snap* "oh that's nice!". What are we, a bunch of 5 year olds?
